Christians are those who choose the road less traveled; Keep their faith in Christ, when hardships would have it unraveled! They do not seek the world's most popular vote, but hold to the teachings Jesus taught, and His disciples wrote. A Christian has assurance of life beyond the grave, for they believe in the One who came to earth to save;
They are both light and salt for all mankind... Renewed and transformed, with a clean heart and mind; Not perfect, but redeemed by Jesus precious blood....The price he paid, for no man apart from God is good; Christians live by His grace, under bondage to no one and no thing...In the midst of sorrow or trouble, they have peace... The only kind Christ can bring;
And if in the sea of fear their boat should be found, they have the presence of Christ, who makes the waves calm down! A Christian life though not easy, has great reward ahead; Those who choose His path have hope, and by His truth are led;
The greatest trademark of a Christian, is the compassion to others they show; there is so little of it here, in our earthly life below!
Those who have the Son have life, those who don't....God's wrath abides upon them! Another difference between those who live in Christ, and those un-yielded and hard hearted toward Him;
The road less traveled...more upon it I hope to see; Following Christ who loves us all, through whom be victory!!

What makes a Christian different? by Shontae Hassell on 12/23/2007, 11:21 PM I think what makes a christian different is that you made a decsion to leave this world behind and follow the true light in this world. I think we found out what this world think they know and don't. We found life beyond this earth we are investing in eternal life and that's what matters. We have a advocate that sits at the right side of our heavenly father that pleads for us to be forgiven we don't have to stay in our sin we can get up and have a clean slate if we ask for forgiveness and mean it from our heart. Christians are different because if you do me wrong we should know it is not the person look who is behind the scenes and deal with that spirit by praying we all get caught up looking at the person instead of the spirit behind the person that person has a soul too. |
