Bella, a new movie that has been limited to selected theatres will open in major theatres nationwide this weekend and it's bound to cause a stir, if even in your heart. The movie confronts the issue of abortion in a gentle, thoughtful way. So thoughtful, in fact, that The Justice Foundation, a Christian pro-life activist organization, has enthusiastically endorsed it.
The Foundation's founder, Allan Parker, recently told Faithvine, "Bella is a warm, funny, caring movie with good family values and a positive, life-affirming message. I give it my highest review!" He added that the movie is "a good thing for Christians to spend their money on."
Bella won the Toronto Film Festival's People's Choice award and yet, according to Parker, "it's not your normal Hollywood faire."
