There are many options that can help you customize your profile. They are found in the "Edit Profile" section of your profile page. And when you are first creating your profile, you can upload images, songs and videos into your profile. You can also import your profile settings from MySpace or FaceBook into your new Faithvine profile.
How do I import my settings from MySpace or FaceBook? What if I accidentally skipped this step? This is done as the first step when initially creating your profile, right after you've gone through the verification process. If you skip this step when first creating your profile, you will not have another chance to do it without creating another profile, UNLESS you click here and start over if you accidentally skipped this step. (You must be logged-in in first.)
When you click on the link in the verification e-mail we send you, it will bring you directly to the "Import MySpace Profile" page. Just enter your MySpace account information and follow the steps. For FaceBook profiles, simply follow the directions in the "Import FaceBook Profile" section on the same page.

There are many different groups (some people call them clubs) you can join on the Vine. In fact, in addition to all the groups that individuals have created for people with similar interests, there's also a group representing almost every major church listed on the Web, or at least over 65,000 of them. So, chances are you'll either find your church on the Vine, or you'll find a group that shares your interests. If you don't see one you like, create your own group!
Each group has its own Forum for discussion. So once you've joined a group, you can post messages and communicate directly with people just like you. Here's how to find a group and join it…
1. Log in and go to our Community page.
2. Click on the "Groups" link in the Community navigation menu.
3. Now you can either click on "Browse Groups," which lets you search all the groups by general category, or "Search Groups," which lets you search by your location and more specific key words.
4. After you've found a group that interests you, simply click the "Join Group" button.
Now you're an official member of that group….and you didn't even have to go through any weird initiation ritual or anything!
How do I create a Group? This one's almost too easy: Click on "Groups" in the Community navigation menu, then click on "Create Group" on the menu bar just above the Featured Group section. Bam! You're there. Just fill in the blanks and follow the steps. Be sure to upload a photo to make your group stand out. Just remember to follow the rules listed in our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy…or we'll take you out!
How do I create an Event? Our Faithvine Events page is a great way for everyone on the Vine to find out about all the Christian things going on in your area…and beyond. Concerts, festivals, speaking gigs, church events, youth group mission trips…you'll probably find them all here. You can search events by location and/or category. And you can also post your own event to let everyone know what's going on in your neck of the woods.
To create an event, after logging in, simply click on the "Events" link in the Community page menu. Now click on the "Create Event" link located in the navigation bar just above the featured events section. Just fill in the blanks and follow the steps. Be sure to upload a photo to go along with your post.
I have another question that was not answered by this FAQ page. How can I get my question answered?First of all, keep checking back to this FAQ page, as we will frequently update this list. Second, you can use our "Ask the Vine" feature (on our home page) to type in your question. Third, some of our users that are more familiar with the site can help answer your question if you post it on one of our forums. You can also post your question on our Faithvine Feedback Forum, which our staff checks regularly. That's what it's there for. Finally, if you still haven't found an answer, e-mail us directly at support@Faithvine.com. We can usually respond to your question within 24 hours (except on weekends).
