Whose responsibility is it to take a stand on mental health issues? Is God concerned about our mental well being? Well, I would have said no to all of these questions because when I was seeking help no one came to my aide. Instead I had to be my own advocate and support system after my mom's death. So in view of that I am once again attempting to launch a campaign for mental illness awareness in America. In view of that please feel free to stop by my new website designed to serve as a platform of expression to those who suffer with mental illness. This group is designated for people of African descent but it is open to all those concerned individuals who want to see positive, productive change on mental health issues in America. This website is also a means of marketing and promoting the production of my future book. I hope that you stop by the site and check it out. The link is:www.freewebs.com/blackconnectionmentalillnessawareness Also for an overview of my life check out myspace page: www.myspace.com/nemasa |

![]() I am so excited about my new book that will be coming out shortly through Amazon.com and also through createspace.com the publisher I am working with. My story and battle with mental illness is a very important one because the mentally challenged are the most misunderstood and the most despised. The stigma is so great i America. I have been through alot with my illness but God is faithful. The advertisement that will be on the website is as follows: About the author: I am a 42 year old, single African-American female who lives in New Orleans, LA. My skill or trade is working as a Certified Nursing Assistant to pay my way through college. I currently attend an online university, Ashford University. My major is Psychology. My future intention is to obtain a Masters in History at American Military University to teach at the college level and later to attend a local Unviversity for a dual degree. I would like my second degree to be in Museum Studies. I am a born again, spirit filled Chritian who loves Jesus. I am sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost and I live for Christ daily, trying to stay on track with a purpose driven Life. I was born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, CA. I left Los Angeles in 1997 never to look back except to say hello and visit family and friends occasionally. I migrated to the South Louisiana in year 1997 my first residency was in Baker, Louisiana and later Baton Rouge, LA and presently New Orleans, LA. I am a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church located in Uptown New Orleans, LA. It is a very unique ministry where the gifts of the spirit go forth with a twist of pentecost. We believe in prophecy, speaking in tonuges, word of knowledge, praise and worship and Holy Ghost dancing. It is located at 2415 South Claiborne Ave; New Orleans, LA 70125 The residing Pastor is Reverend Jermaine G. Landrum who is an awesome man of God who prophesied to me about my writing talent and abilities. For a overview of my life, check out http://myspace.com/nemasa http://womenofdestinyandpurposeintl.ning.com http://myprayercircle.org Or do a google search with my name and various information will come up. The Life Story of An African-American Female Navigating Through Life With Mental Illness Rejected, Ignored, and Thrown Away; Who Went from Shouting "Black Power" to a Lifestyle in Christ By Nemasa Asetra It is a biography about my battle with mental illness, life before the illness began and life after up and leading to the present time. Publication Date: Aug 09 2008 ISBN/EAN13: 1440404100 / 9781440404108 Page Count: 38 Binding Type: US Trade Paper Trim Size: 5.25" x 8" Language: English Color: Black and White Related Categories: Biography & Autobiography / Personal Memoirs |

Ee gads. In California everyone is either an attorney or plays golf with one. It is a legalistic quagmire. Frivalous lawsuits abound. Yet the really important and serious stuff gets toally ignored by judges and these critically significant cases get dismissed. Why? Could it be because judges are more concerned with building their own careers than they are with safeguarding basic American freedoms? Could it be that judges are no longer owning their roles as keeper of traditions of doctrines of fair play and moralistic values in America? I don't really know, I just posit possibilities. |

recently, on meditating on all the Lord has done for me, i stand amazed, awestricken, at His faithfulness and kindness in the face of my inattentiveness in comparison. i want to be more thankful, pay more attention so i can thank Him at the time He comes through for me. i really want to step up my gratitude!
